_As an organization we’re very clear on what our optimal overhead needs to be to help the organization function effectively and will always remain transparent about what those needs are. We strive to lead by example for the women we seek to serve by maximizing support that comes in the form of time, talent and treasure.

To keep our costs down, for example, our global team works remotely from home offices. We also maximizes resources by actively engaging our board of directors and advisory board members for everything from marketing and fundraising to program development and partnerships. Since our inception, they have contributed almost $200,000 in pro bono support.

We believe that by strengthening locally and connecting globally Moyo Jasiri nurtures the growth and development of a wider and more robust global economy. All ventures require not only sweat equity but real capital in order to achieve all things great and small. We have identified several types of donor communities that we believe will offer support for our mission.

Angel Donors

These are individuals and foundations that understand intrinsically that big problems require big solutions. They are global souls, leaders and experts in their fields who are capable of making large gifts. They seek to express their core values by investing in socially progressive projects.

Grassroots Donors

These are individuals focused on making social change through grassroots networking, such as Facebook and Twitter, who express their support through small monthly contributions to causes they are passionate about. 100% of their donations fund one or all our strategies: education and training, capital and markets. Donors can choose to invest in a particular country or a particular woman. They will receive regular and focused updates so they can track the impact their contribution has made.

Corporate Donors

These are the companies around the world who understand that by supporting the creation of strong woman owned businesses they secure for themselves a more sustainable and robust global economy and help to elevate the status of communities world wide. They will receive an annual report showing how their dollars were expended and what progress we’ve made.

_All good works involve passion, intention and support, and we know that not all want to give in the same way. One of our grounding principles is to be efficient as possible with every dollar we receive.

Our board members and advisers are living their passion. They are giving their most valuable commodities - their time, their energy and their expertise – to better the status of women all over the world and to secure a better life for future generations.

Our Angel donors are expressing their intentions. They believe that each human being should do what they can to better the life of others. This group finds themselves in a position to financially support the betterment of the human condition and actively seeks out ways to provide the means for good works.

Our Grassroots donors are very precious to us.  These are the people who often make sacrifices in their own lives to better the lives of their family, friends and neighbors.  They may not be the feet-on-the-ground, working hands that build and teach, but they believe in the need to be responsible for our fellow human beings, no matter where they are.  Their contributions exemplify the principle of collective good – each little drop works to fill the barrel.

Our Corporate Donors are economic and humanitarian visionaries.  They understand that by investing in the creation of a thriving global market place they ensure a more sustainable and robust economy world wide. When our women entrepreneurs provide commodities for other new and existing businesses all business benefits.
